Andrew M. Aran CFA, MBA, Managing Partner

Andrew joined Regency Wealth Management as a Partner in 2010 after a two year affiliation with LPL Financial and over 18 years in Alliance Bernstein’s Fixed Income Division. As a Senior Vice President, he formed and headed Alliance’s corporate bond research group, managed institutional global credit portfolios, a credit oriented hedge fund, and a retail balanced mutual fund. He has also helped manage numerous institutional and retail bond strategies including open end and close end mutual funds and money market funds. His prior experience includes research roles at PaineWebber, Citibank, and Standard & Poors after being a Relationship Manager at The Chase Manhattan Bank.

A visible and respected professional, Mr. Aran has been published in Institutional Investors, authored a case study in Fabozzi’s Bond Credit Analysis: Framework & Case Studies, has been quoted in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal; has been quoted or interviewed multiple times on Bloomberg and CNBC and has spoken at numerous financial conferences around the world. He also served on Markit iBoxx’s Oversight Committee. He is a member of the CFA Institute, FIASI, NYSSA (Bond and Stock Analysts Association), and is an Associate member of NAPFA (National Association of Personal Financial Advisors).

Andrew earned a B.A. from Rutgers University in 1978, an M.B.A. from Fordham’s Graduate School of Business in 1980, and was awarded a Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1986. His past service included the Christian Health Foundation Board and the Bergen County Chapter of the New Canaan Society where he served as President from 2011-2015. Andrew is currently a member of the Advisory Board of Street 2 Street. He is blessed by his marriage to Cindy, their three children, and one grandchild.
